My client, Antoinette Nikprelaj, a beautiful and talented Albanian actress is a mermaid in the new installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series "On Stranger Tides". This raven haired beauty and I had a clear vision for the premiere. Go with color! We wanted a bright color to really show off her olive skin color on the black carpet. At the fitting, it was a toss up between a magenta strapless corset dress and the tangerine curve-hugging Mandalay dress.
Let's be real for a moment, we are competing with Penelope Cruz, Ashley Tisdale, Eva Longoria, and Vanessa Hudgens, . . .but if you wireimage their photos, you can tell how we blew away the competition!
And we all know after the dress is selected, the shoes are the next major step. Thanks to our friends at Giuseppe Zanotti, we were able to use the silver heels that were recently featured in the new J.Lo video "I'm Into You". And of course, no outfit is complete without the perfect bling! Ring, bracelet, and kite drop earring by my good friend Peter of Peter Marco of Beverly Hills.
